STRANGE FRUIT ft Raúl Guerra - African Woman Series VII
Strange Fruit Series.
As long as there is a single life under the yoke of
any form of oppression or slavery, there will be
reasons to delve into the concept of freedom and beauty,
and the meaning of the word "eradication."
This new series of illustrations is based not only on African women,
but also on a piece of music with the same name: "Strange Fruit".
Performed by Billie Holiday and written by A. Meeporol immediately became
a hymn against any sign of racism or lynching.
